Octane Boosters

Post by Zee »

Dunno whether this thread has been discussed previously, but would anyone recommend using an octane booster for the 1.8T engine, just to get a little more power out? If so, which brand and from where? If not, what are the cons?
Also, would anyone recommend changing the air filter to a high performance one on the 1.8T?

It has... The search function will tell you everything you need to know, including the idea that the only octane booster worth the money spent on it is racing fuel.
I would like to apologize to anyone I have NOT offended.
Please be patient.
I will get to you shortly...
