If you fit the cam you should have your car dyno'd as the air/fuel ratio will be out. Should see a worthwile gain in power. Don't know the power differences with regards to the cams but the 'wilder' ones put the power higher up the rev range and you lose some low end power and torque. I have a 268 cam in my Jetta with mildly worked head and it starts pulling nicely from 3500rpm all the way to 6000. The G cam(252) I had started pulling from 2500rpm until about 5200rpm. So it is basically a case of where you want power to be made. Low rev torque and a nice pull in traffic or a screamer that only starts pulling well at 4000rpm's?
