do you think 68000 is steep for a 2004.com in good condition thats in good condition? will installing a webasto sunroof decrease the value of the car

dont think it would decrease the value, but it wont make it go up either.

Heres the thing, the .com looks like a standard 1.4i and 1.6i current citi. therefor rather get a 1.6i standard citi for round the same price, coz it will go faster and look kinna the same

if u willing to put out R10k more get a Velociti 1.4i you can pick one up in autotrader with 20 000km on it for R78 000

There is also a 2002 1.6i Life (the big brother of the .com) for R64000 with 40 000km on the clock. So just shop around.

Wats the mileage and condition of the car? and are you buying it privately?

Ok well firstly anyone here will tell you that mods will not increase the value of the car, eg free flow and sunroof. if anything free flow should lower the cost coz you may void your warrenty depending on which one he had fitted.

here is a value estimate

Vehicle Type: PASSENGER
Vehicle Make: VOLKSWAGEN
Year: 2004
Vehicle Model: GOLFI/II CITI P/VANS D/CAB
Vehicle Variant: CITI.COM 1.4i
Vehicle Kilometers: LOW (38450 - 53800)
Vehicle Condition: GOOD

Vehicle Values:
Estimated Trade Range: R 54360.9 - R 55505.34
Estimated Retail Range: R 60856.05 - R 63738.71

Try work him down a little, esp considering u can get a Velociti 1.4i for R10k more with less mileage or a Life 1.6i with roughly the same mileage
