Capacity for one is a big difference.

The CD has more capability to adjust and not prescriptive to the Karcher shampoo.

Good investment.
I love mine and only have it for a month now.

I dont have stills but below is a vid I did using CD foam cannon V2 and Maxisuds as well. There is a huge difference. Also, to get good foam from the Karcher cannon, you need to use a pretty high dilution of shampoo to water. With our cannon the dilution is 100ml to 900ml of water. And this will foam 2 cars. So essentially 50ml to 450ml if you doing just one car.

The money you save going with the Karcher will be quickly consumed by money spent on snow foam.

:driving:

For those who can't view youtube at work, I will see if I can find pics to upload.

Depends what machine you have. AFAIK the attachments only work with k.2 series and higher.

also here is what my foam looks like with a Karcher foam gun with Maxi suds. Can't remember the dilution but was about 1:10

Have you purchased the CD foam cannon ?

its the fitting from the cannon into the gun that needs to be swapped out....and you sorted.
Pravin swapped mine and it worked perfect.

Actually I purchase both - needed to have one for a citrus pre-wash and another for a normal soap wash (lazy to empty out unused solution and refill).

Thanks for the info. I will take mine back to their shop today and they can sort it out.
Sadly they didn't mention anything about the type of Karcher series - mines is quite old.

I can confirm that the CD foam canon is compatible with your Karcher gun however its probably best to take your gun along with you for fitting as there are various fitting combinations.

I am quite impressed with the service of the CD guys.
I emailed late on a Sunday night and got a quick response and then at 06:50 the next morning another email to assure me that they would sort out the Karcher gun - foam canon fitment issue.
Good stuff CD - keep it up!

My CD one also gives about this amount of foam with maxi suds. I thought that was kind of how it's supposed to work? I also use hot water.

My AF canon using VP Snow Foam. 1 inch to half a bottle of warm water. Not as thick as the G7 above but works well.

This was after around 4 minutes (car has Colli 915 on at the moment):
