I remember earlier this year I saw a combo*special pack with Micro Fibers, sponges for dressing, cloths etc

Is there any chance of another combo like this in the future? even maybe with option of adding 1 of 3 products or similar

At the moment we are out of stock on quite a few of our CD branded items. We've held of on ordering stock due to the volatility of the Rand. But we took the plunge last month and ordered our next shipment. Stock will be arriving around mid-June. We will definitely be putting a couple of promo packs together !

What's the difference between this drying towel and the older grey one with the red ribbing?

I got the previous one it work well, but it could have been better. Ideally I think a person would need 2 for a car.

I use a normal microfibre to dry the door jambs and so on so I dont transfer dirt onto the drying towel.

Would most probably include one of these v3 drying towels in my next order....

Its exactly the same as the old towel. From all the towels that we've tested we've found V2 to be the best one yet. V3 is just a different colour combo.

With WaffleWeaves, we've found that the thiner lighter towels work much better. Our V1 was much thicker and when I use that I find that it streaks much more and becomes heavier to work with as it dampens.

One towel is sufficient to dry an entire car, I will go as far as saying a single towel can even be stretched to dry 2. I dry a huge SUV with a single towel no probs.

Try the following:

• Sheet off as much water as possible
• Dry with a detail spray. It acts as a drying agent and reduces streaking
• Ensure that your paint is super smooth by means of claying when necessary
• Also ensure that you have a decent coat of wax on the paint. This helps in all sorts of ways from the washing to the drying.

I'm not saying that you haven't experienced issues drying with a Waffle weave towel, As I experience the same when I detail a car that has not been cared for. In fact, drying with a waffle weave becomes a bit of a process. But the point is, its not down the the actual towel itself, but rather the surface you working with.

I know my car is in desperate need of claying.
I usually use the detailing spray after drying. Will give it a try before drying next time.

If I can just add my 2c here.

When it comes to drying the car, sheeting is an important aspect often overlooked by people. When you just spray with a hosepipe (usually with some pressure via a nozzle of some sorts) the water tends to splash onto the paint and then sit there and bead, the result of which is that you need to then dry the car with a drying towel.

If you instead take all the connectors/nozzles etc off the end of the hosepipe and have a gentle but steady stream of water coming out the hosepipe you can allow the water to sheet off the car - this 'pulls' all the water off the car, leaving behind very little to be dried with the drying towel. For the actual methodology on how to sheet, it is very difficult to explain verbally, so you may be better off checking out some youtube vids.

The key to successful sheeting though is to ensure that your paint a) is smooth (polished/clayed) and that b) there is some form of wax/sealant on it.
