Hey bud

Just a quick comment from my side.... and to note I am no way trying to 'knock' any of the wheel cleaners that Crazy Detailer sells - in fact, I purchase my wheel cleaners from them.... I just want to share my experience with you...

In most cases a dedicated wheel cleaner will not remove ALL of the brake dust as the brake dust does not only sit on top of the rim, but over time actually embeds itself INTO the rim. The longer the rim has been left in this condition, the harder it is to remove all the brake dust, and so the key is to get your wheels CLEAN and then to seal them with a sealant or wax to aid in preventing a buildup of brake dust.

That said, the only way to truly get rid of ALL of the brake dust is to use a dedicated iron remover such as iron-x, or a wheel cleaner with the same active ingredient such as Sonax Extreme Wheel Cleaner.

If you look at this Seat I detailed, there are some photos of the wheel cleaning process which include the difference a wheel cleaner makes as opposed to a dedicated iron remover.

For the most part I use CD's Turtle Wax Extreme wheel cleaner as I love the foaming ability of the product which aids in dwell time (and therefore cleaning power) but have ordered some of the Auto Finesse Imperial wheel cleaner and should get to test it out this weekend - will let you know how it works.

with the foam canons, we placed the order just waiting for confirmation ...
and should be in the country 2-4 weeks time ,,,

The ZAR/USD rate threw us a real curve ball :( on the imports

Iv always been a fan of autoglym custom wheel cleaner which is acid free, leaves the wheels looking clean and bright, on my car never need anything more.
If your looking for something stronger the Mothers® FX Wheel Cleaner or the Autoglym Clean wheels.
A word or caution though with any wheel cleaner please use exactly as instructed, incorrect usage can lead to damage.
