Hi

Guys I. Have a Tdi 1.6 CR Jetta 5 vehicle has no Injector Pulse, I have checked Relays, fuses, wiring I even took the ecu for Testing it was found its ohk but the vehicle is still not starting, however if I put quickstart it starts as a sign that the compression is there, but I can't find Injector pulse however I have also tested cam sensors and Crank sensor the EoBD doesn't read cam sensor either Crank sensor no faults code at all please gents help what can I do next I have checked everything

Jetta 5 or jetta 6?

How are u checking for pulse in the injectors? Doing the wrong thing here can put u in a completely different direction.

I'm sure these are more (advanced) like the PD, and not like the usual petrol port injection injectors which use a plain old 12v and switched ground. These CR systems have pre injection, main injection and post injection which is very precisely controlled.

Powers and grounds are switched, and if I'm not mistaken, the CR aswell uses much less than 12v to operate the injectors.
If so, directing 12v or ground just anyhow here can cause big issues.
Oscilloscopes only would be the best bet here, even then, without good known waveforms u don't know what to look for or whether everything is working as it should.

The 1.6cr has a bunch of issues from what Iv read on them.

Most common being the egr assembly that's behind the block. Apparently when the egr fails (n18 if I'm not mistaken) it cuts off fuel which makes it seem as if there's an immo issue. Starts, idles for a second or 2 then cuts off.

Not 100% sure how this system "safety" is set up, since it has a thousand sensors all over the place, ecu probably wouldn't pulse the injectors if there's not enough rail pressure.

Also, the bosch hpfp fails here aswell, continental is said to be the robust one..
Could also be a Faulty rail pressure regulator or even a dead intank/low pressure fuel pump problem.
Injectors on them seem to just die all of a sudden aswell, many many people have injector issues on them, especially those who use dodgy fuel.

Regarding the cam and crank sensors, a blown crank sensor wouldn't give u rpm when swinging.
A blown cam sensor should throw a fault code, or sometimes start after swinging for a few seconds.

Look at Live data from a scantool so u can see stuff like crank rpm, cam rpm, fuel pressure etc

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on :driving:
