My VW Golf 1.4i citi won't start after I left it in the rain. Someone just told me to check the two relays underneath the dashboard.

Also check the fuses by the battery, coil pack and inside the dizzy for moisture.

Coil packs sometimes crack when hot and get whet.

Check the fuse box for blown fuses and trace it back to the soarce. Could be an electrical short somewhere. Also the two big fuses by the battery.

Does the engine turn over when you crank it?
