Any 1.2TSI owners here?

Post by Rabbit222 »

Hi guys,

We are looking for a candidate to test our revo 1.2TSI software. The remap is done via the OBDII port so does not involve ecu removal/opening.

If you are keen, drop me an email shaun@vagtechnik.co.za

I also have a 1.4 that I might be willing to provide for testing. No 1.2 sadly.

Polo 1.2TSI... Manual. I'm not too phased with what's available already. In terms of Revo development, we are still busy with it. Once ready, I'll test on my Polo. It will be a port tune and not a plug and play unit.

Was hoping they had it by now , was waiting for a while( supposed to develop at zwartkops for testing after chatting to Jody ) , got a flash SW upgrade from CPI in December after many tries and then working out the engine is G7 based and not the normal later Polo 6c , so had to have software designed after countless tries and logs Dyno Night was the first time the 6c TSI had a run and really did well for such a small motor with just SW. Can't wait to see Revo's reply to the competition.

Yeah, the 6R is not MQB based like the 6C. It shouldn't be too long now.

The international revo page shows there is a stage 1 tune available.

But will wait in anticipation for your final copy. Heard of guys overseas getting over 100kw on just a tune with no hardware.
Will make the little polo quite a pocket rocket.

Yeah saw that but that's based on 6R platform , the 6C is MQB wiring and engines that's why the power differs 63kw vs 66kw and 77kw vs 81kw most is just better software and better design.

Bear in mind, the Polo 6R 1.2TSI has been around in the UK and Europe for a while. The 6C Polo however is MQB based so things are slightly different. Revo don't have a remap available just yet for this platform.
