Nice, I like the compare with the old GTI. They should do a shoot out with a MK1 Gti, a CTI and the R-line. Should be very interesting :)

Citi R line kills the mk1 4 door GTi, the CTi doesnt come close to the Citi R line.

I think the Rline is a nice nippy factory car, if only it was a 2door would be great

Awesome car. I drove alot of them. Its also was limited to 100 vehicles, and Citi 1.8i(Same motor) limited to 250 vehicles. Id love to see a aftemarket Mk1/Citi pass all the strict VW test specs. Its a good factory job and the fastest production Mk1 ever made.
