Rattling Subs

Guys i have a pair of earthquakes 12"s and they sometimes make a rattling sound and send this sound to the boot wh which also repeats the sound. Please help

please be more specific as to what is actually rattling...the subs or the boot or both....Does the subs rattle all the time

The subs. And the rattle varies depend on a song that is being played.

1- put music off and push in sub with your hand...tell me what you hear....it should be smooth with no scratching like noises
2- if posssible check coils with a multimeter and record readings and post

On it except for number 2 cuz i dont own a multimeter. What do you suspect is the problem
