this is a good idea :hurray:
If you drive under the moses mabida (from the road that runs between the swimming pool and the parking lot) you can park in "the peoples park".
It is out of view of the main road so won't attract attention (unless the cammed up citi brigade decide to rev their cocks off)

The stadium meet would be awesome, also a beach park off could possibly organize a full moon shoot. If a meet falls on a full moon day ofcourse. And no I don't mean parking the cars in front of some dudes with their pants down :moon:

How would people feel about meeting at a beach front parking lot (possibly between Suncoast and Blue Lagoon) and having a braai and snap some pictures. The beach isnt too busy at night and we could find an area where we can park all out cars together.

Something like this would need to be weekend I guess. Alcohol would be a no, as drinking in public though.

Have you seen the cops that patrol that area??
imagine metro rocking up to a group of oaks with slammed cars, like fishing with dynamite

Sticking to locations that are out of sight or on private property is what you wanna stick to

Gateway only has rooftop parking by the soccer courts IIRC? Not much space either and usually full. On 2 occassions while playing there I have witnessed busted rear windows. A better idea might be 1 level down. Its one of those odd levels that dont enter direct to the mall so people dont park there unless it is really busy. So we could easily find an empty space and own it. Maybe snap some pics and head to one of the restuarants or bars for some drinks and snacks.

Also, since I've joined(albeit that was quite recently) we've only been doing night time M&Gs, apart from the dyno day..

Maybe something during the day will be cool, like a breakfast run..

 Keep an eye out. Breakfast run in the pipeline soon.

Events like photo shoots, dyno days & breakfast runs etc are more like one-offs, maybe twice a year. Whereas the meet and greets are held monthly for the club guys to keep in touch on a face to face basis.

We are looking at trying to do more QUALITY events this year though.
