Re: KZN Committee Nominations for 2014
Guys, just a little info from my side.
Rob and a few other guys can attest to the fact that we have been working our nuts off over the past few years trying to grow the KZN section to the point where the core membership down here is sufficient enough to fund events. Although we have come a long way from when it was 4 of us having M&G's at Nandi Drive to hosting events such as Beach Bums, the Epic Photoshoot run etc etc
Many hours have been poured into this and we are now at the point where the constitution has been re-written to cater for a KZN 'committee' to run things. All we need now is said committee members.
I am officially withdrawing from any active committee responsibilities after Dubrun this year and I am not sure if ScottiesKJ and Mitch are going to avail themselves for another year or not. The point is, if none of you step up in the role of a committee member, all the hard work we have put in over the past few years will be for f'all. There will be no events. There will be nothing.
You guys (yes a generalization) always moan that there are no events, or that the club organises the wrong events.... well now is the time for you to put up or shut up..... step up to the plate and get INVOLVED and make the club something you want it to be.....
If not, I can assure you that this time next year things are going to be very sad in KZN.....
