Durban is famous for its Dino queen's. Every Tom, **** and Harry want their cars dyno'd..

The years that autostyle ran their mobile dyno'd, I personally waited 3 hours in the queue.

So guys, just some further feedback on the event being held at Beach Bums this coming Saturday from 11:00 onward.

The show 'n shine competition will be run based on the following classes and will cost R100 to enter
best mk1 old school
best mk1 new school
best mk2
best mk3
best mk4
best mk5
best mk6
best roc
best polo 6n
best polo 9n
best polo 6r
best other
best wheels
best engine bay
best stance
best overall car on the day
best interior

Trophies will be handed out for the 1st place winner, and certificates for the runners up.

There will be a mobile dyno on site, with entry fee of R100

We will be raffling off a detailing hamper worth R560 with tickets costing R30 each and all proceeds will be used by the KZN guys to purchase supplies to go and assist various charity organizations with some DIY projects, and so we implore you to give generously in this regard as it is for a good cause.

We will have club merchandise on sale, and you will be able to register as an official VW Club SA member too.

Anyone who has been to Beach Bums will know of their renowned Jam Jars.... and for our event on Saturday they have created "Dub Jars" which will be on sale for R50, or R75 with a beer/coldrink, or R100 with a pizza.

Directions to Beach Bums:
Get onto the M4 heading north
Continue past Umhlanga, then Umdloti... you will then go over a river near La Mercy.
Keep continuing along the M4 until you get to the main traffic circle where you can turn left to Watson Highway. Instead you will turn right here.
This will take you into Casuarina Road. Follow Casuarina Road until you see all the Dubs

Beach Bums will also be erecting a marquee for us, containing tables, chairs and a bar, on the grass outside and this combined with the DJ and general vibe should make for an awesome day, with us probably not having to leave to enjoy a good night of partying.

Haaaa, no competition hey! As for the rims, probably black, maybe BBS reps with black center ... not sure yet. I really like the murdered look like Sean919 had on his Velo. Depends what I get for the GTi and what's left after paying the bill for the clutch and box.
