KZN Event Suggestions

So given the recent going on's regarding the type of events being held in KZN, I thought we should start a thread where all the KZN guys can put down their suggestions on events they would like to have.

PLEASE keep this thread clean and refrain from tearing apart people's suggestions - there are no dumb ideas!!!!

Let's be constructive and the committee can then look to this thread for guidance on what to plan for you.

Ok gents......

Firstly I wanna say that we gonna have to start somewhere with this and I suggest
We all get together the old fashioned way with a dop and chop so that we can actually
See who we talking(chirping) to on the forum I think someone else said like a mini cars in the park type theme and bring the so and kids with if you like I know for sure my so gonna be there

By doing this we get to realy know each other and you can then decide if the oke is a knob or not.
This is just a suggestion and I'm keen to meet everyone that is part of this club.

A couple more...

Rob is also wanting to a 'coming home' trip down to the VW plant in Uitenhage later this year

ShaunTdi mentioned a trip to the berg where the Gauteng guys come down too

Puni is wanting us to do a reverse dubrun, up to Gauteng

I want to go karting at Idube at some point

I also want to plan another lunch run to Wartberg

In terms of big events - both Uitenhage and a reverse dubrun sound awesome!

On a smaller scale, lets get some normal casual m&g's going again.

Or to add a way forward breakfast run, strategic planning breakfast if you woud like to call it. Whoevers there gives their input to where the club should be going and what they see is wrong if any. Everything gets ironed out at the table and thats that afterwards.

and to where? - perhaps we can do the Wartburg run again.... for me personally that is where things in KZN kinda took off....but I accept that the club and meets and stuff were happening before my time.... its just an idea

Check with Rob but if I am not mistaken it was the one to Ballito, where KJ rocked up with no shoes to Mug and bean

. I think we had a good turn out then, Rob will know better.

I was thinking a shorter drive and a longer breakfast to discuss stuff.

Remember that one!!! I had a broken leg and did rolling shots out the rear of Shane's caddy.. It was a nice run from Pav to Lifestyle mugg and bean. Nice windy roads and some fun spirited driving.
