Actually the detailing kit is worth more than that - Crazy Detailer were running a special on the kit that's why I scooped them up

The wash and dry kit normally goes for R326 and the Wheel and Tire kit for R235. So ja, R560 worth of goodies for R50.... seems like a good deal to me!

At this point we are in the throws off discussing a game plan and will have more details.

Charity has been selected and we are busy getting more details from them in terms of what the need and how can we help.

We will update as soon as we have more feed back.

Right so we have bedded down our plans in respect of selecting a charity - the Malvern Children's Home and the help we want to give them

I have compiled a document with all the details which you can then present to any company whom you may have a contact at, and they will then be able to obtain the relevant NPO number to enable them to legitimately claim the sponsorship back from tax etc.... I did not know how to upload a .pdf doc  but have posted the content of the document below. Should you need the document itself, please PM with your email address and I will send it through to you.

Please can anyone who is willing to help out try and collect the required items. We will also be hosting a bikini car wash day at Volksie on Sunday the 30 Sep to raise funds for the home. I am in the process of trying to get Crazy Detailer to sponsor the products for the day. Also, we will be selling boerie rolls and coldrinks on the day, with all the monies raised going to the home.

There will also be a raffle for a full detail, done by me.... Volksie are sponsoring the products for the detail (I have also asked Crazy Detailer what if they can contribute to this too) and I will donate my time/skills for mahala.... tickets will be R50 each for the raffle - a real bargain when one looks at the price of a full detail, and the car wash will be R50 too....

Also, once all the funds have been raised and the donated items tallied up, we will then proceed to purchase any of the outstanding items (if we can) and will then set up a run to the home to drop the items off, and to physically help out....

Please show your support for this worthy cause!

Well, you can consider us in.
I am in the kitchen and cupboard industry and I can try come up with a few sponsors. I will sponsor the hardware ie:hinges, drawer runners, handles, consumables etc...
I will be able to do the installation (with a bit of help from some of you guys as it's not a one man job) and any help needed with any other maintenance. We will need to take some measurements on sight before anything is made.

In keeping with our intention to play completely open cards, please take note of the below.

Crazy Detailer have generously agreed to sponsor the following items for our planned car wash on Sunday (http://www.vwclub.co.za/phpbb3/viewtopi ... 5&t=146893)

1 x 5L Cyclo shampoo (100 washes at recommended ratio)

2 x Wash Mitts
2 x Microfibre towels
and Courier to Durban.

On behalf of the VW Club and the Malvern Children's home... a VERY BIG THANK YOU....
