Fok, I didn't even notice there were pillars, never mind signs on them

There is hardly a chance to blink on a lap, never mind read the sign on the pillars - haibo!

Fray, what is on that steering wheel of yours that has you smiling like that bud?

I was smiling because the barrier in front of me was supposed to be joined... my crash in the beginning of my stint did that!

well when you try put too much "kart" in a "track" that's not wide enough, accidents can happen...

Pricing would not be on the same level as the karting we did over the weekend though...!

Pinetown is kakballs, Gateway is fun actually always have a jol despite being for kids, guess thats what we are bhaa.. Obviously these dont compare 1/100th to the real thing but still tons of fun..

Think next one must be PMB? :hurray:

So I have made contact with iDube and found the details of the company who hire out karts there. Initial indication is around R650 per kart per hour so if we arrange a 2 hour session again with 5 teams (they only have 5 karts) of 6 people per team, we are looking at roughly R220 each for 20 minutes of track time, compared to the R120 each we paid for 20 minutes of track time at Galleria.

Well worth it then in my opinion.

I am waiting for them to send me an email with all the details and I will then post that up here for some feedback from you guys if you are keen or not.

She also mentioned they are getting in 6 x superkarts which are apparently really quick, but they won't allow noobs on them first time out and we have to gain some experience with the other karts first....

Will keep you updated!
