We will meet at the rooftop parking at Pavillion opposite Baby City at 08:00 to depart at 08:30. We will then have an 80km run to an empty warehouse in a secret location - pace notes will be handed out to each of you before departing from the Pavillion.
Along the route there will be 2 vehicles with GoPro cameras capturing rolling footage, as well as 2 additional GoPro's capturing drive-by footage from various points along the route. On arrival at the warehouse you will draw a number out of a hat, which will determine your order for the photoshoot which will follow.
The photoshoot will be conducted by top quality photographers in a 'photo booth' we will be setting up with the proper lighting etc, inside the empty warehouse. We are also looking at arranging for an A3 sized print - with 1 decent sized photo of your car with 3 or 4 smaller photos in a 'filmstrip' along the bottom - being available. Details of this will follow.
The guys with the GoPro's will then also capture video footage of us rolling into the warehouse, and will be cruising around conducting interviews etc for those keen to have their car 'featured'.
We will be braaing so please bring your own meat and drinks. For the halaal guys, please can one of you volunteer to run a separate braai if there is a need to do so.
We will also have a DJ banging out tunes throughout the day so there should be an awesome vibe.
The event is restricted to VAG (VW, Audi, SEAT) cars only, so get the word out there get your cars cleaned up, and get ready for what promises to be an awesome day!!!
