VW Club - ECR Toy Story Run get together 17th November 2011

Hi guys

So as I am sure most of you East Coasters will know, ECR is currently running their annual Toy Story.



I would like us all to get together next week Thursday the 17th Nov for a meet up. You will be required to bring a toy (or 2 or 3) with you to the meet, whereafter we can travel in convoy to ECR and drop off the toys.

My thoughts are to meet up at Nandi Drive Petroport, talk some smack, collect all the toys and then drive through to ECR (near Gateway), drop off the toys, and then maybe head through to Get Lost for some liquid refreshments.

I appeal to all of you to make the effort to support this worthy cause. If you are going to be unable to make the event itself, please get hold of me so we can make a plan and collect your toy(s) before then.

I really hope to see you all there.

We did this last year and thought is was a good initiative from us. However the **** at reception was a bit of a hard arse so I suggest we send Troy in to do his bonnet babe pose to loosen, I mean lighten him up a bit

I really hope that it is because none of the KZN okes have read this post yet, that there are only 4 of us planning on coming through to support the ECR Toy Story, and it is not because you guys are heartless, uncaring guys who don't care about putting a smile on the kids faces.

Please guys, it is really important that we make an effort to give back something, and for the price of a takeaway or a few dops, you can have a huge impact on someone's life.

I urge you to make the effort to support this, for the kids sake!

Last year was an awesome turnout so lets hope we can get the same this year.

Thanks Mike - no set time yet, but I would imagine around 18:30/19:00/19:30 - gives the guys some time to get home after work, change and get through...
