R32 - Kyalami video

Hi All

I finally edited my track day vid , and rather poorly I might add lol.
It was my first time out on track with my car and I loved every second. The R32 is so composed and so grounded out on the track that it made for a really great experience.

My lines weren't great , I am no track day expert , and the second lasxt right hander had me every time. Apart from that the only other corner that I wasn't getting right was the final left hander onto the main straight , only because I was purposely trying to get as close to the wall on every lap to blast the spectators with the aural pleasure that is R32.

Awesome sounding car is sounding awesome

Looking at the clip, I think you should try turning in a bit later, so that you almost late apex the corner. Also with the 4wd and understeer you need to really man handle the car into the corner. Apexing early, I think makes the understeer worse. But I am talking for racing a fwd car, so I could be a bit off.

Most important thing is that you enjoy yourself

Thanks Howie , very similar advice to what Ryan E posted on Vortex. Next year bring your R up to JHB and spend the weekend with me and we can do Kyalami together
