Hi forum members,

We are looking to expand the content we post on our blog (https://www.wheelindex.co.za/blog) and wanted to reach out to ask if you are perhaps interested in becoming a technical writer for us. We will pay for high quality writing, but if you are an amateur and just want to share your knowledge about cars, that's welcome too!

The technical content we want to focus on is Buyer's Guide type of articles discussing known issues on cars, ownership experience, servicing costs and advising people what they need to look out for and what they can expect to spend on maintaining the car over long period, like 3-5 years. If you've owned a car for a couple years you are a good candidate to share knowledge. Good photos will also need to supplement the content, we can assist to get photos. Article length we would aim for is 1000 words minimum and we have an editorial team who will assist with optimising your article for our SEO (search engine optimisation) strategy.

Here's an example of what we would expect: VW Golf Mk5 GTI - Essential Buyer's Guide

As an author you will be credited everywhere the article is published, so on our website and the VW forum for now.

Would this opportunity interest you? Reply here, or send me a PM.

Bump - we're still looking for more technical writers to join our team.

Reach out if you're interested, we are not picky! You just need to demonstrate technical knowledge of cars and have the ability to write a meaningful article our website users and fellow forum members will find helpful.

PM me.
