Drive by wire can only be controlled by OEM ECU or by a Haltech 950 (or better). Dikta(s)tor, gotech and powermods just won't cut it.
Which one will depend entirely on the application and your power goals.
As a G5 is a fully CanBus car. I would stay with the OEM setup and look at software tuning if the motor is staying in its original chassis. If this is true and it's blown an ECU, an aftermarket solution will leave much of the rest of the vehicle unable to function well if at all.
Maybe provide us with more details of what you wish to achieve and we can give you better advice.
