Radio model?
Hi Guys, who can tell me what model radio this is and will it be plug and play in my Jetta 5?
I want to purchase/swop this from a guy,but he said that it drains his car battery, cannot let car stand for longer than 12 hours before he needs to start to avoid no start due to battery power,i also don't want this to happen to my car battery,so how can this draining of battery be prevented should i think to purchase/swop the radio,i dont want to sit with those issues,i also saw that the radio is made in china,is this an aftermarket radio or OEM radio?will it also work on the steeringwheel controls?im thinking of swopping my RCD310 for this one,let me know please

Re: Radio model?
According to the part number it is an RCD330.
And they all seem to have some sort of battery drain issue with cars with an older CANBUS version or something like that.
Google "RSC330 battery drain" and go read up on it.

Re: Radio model?
Thanks for the feedback,
This seems to be a no no then for me,wil rather let this deal go,seeing that i have to change the canbus gateway and have to change the steeringwheels to a newer steeringwheel or change the canbus for the steering wheel controls to work.
I think i will rather still look at getting the RCD320 then, will this be a better option without battery drain and the works, hopefully that will just be plug and play and steering controls will work without any canbus upgrades,
Do you guys agree?
