Hi All
Need to get some advice. I want to buy the following: Pioneer 12" TS-WX1210A 1300w Subwoofer & Box Combo with has a built in amp set to i wont need a amp to be installed in the boot thus saving some space as Im going for the simplicity and neat look in the boot.
Will this setup work on the standard radio of the golf?
I plan to go to a accreditated installer to get it installed to ensure it done right the first time.
Any info or advise will be apprecaited.
Thanks
Vicky

If a proper installer does the job, there will be no issue.

Agreed , no issues and has been done before ,
Should the amp not have a high input , you'll have to get a High to Low converter bridged from one of the speakers and connect your amp from there using RCA cables.
That and the power cables and you good to go.

Re: Installing a Sub in a Golf 7 Gti
Hi Vicky.
I have a Polo 9N TDI. I installed a "bass tube" (sub woover with built-in Amp). And as mentioned earlier in your post, I also had to install a RCA converter to enable the Amp to get its audio signal from the radio. I did not want to change the factory radio unit, as I like the standard look, and I feel it lessens the chances of getting my car broken into, cos there is no double dinn GPS audio system in it. I might add that I did fork out that extra cash, and bought a Rockford Fosqate Power Push tube, and trust me, this thing kicks ass! I always had subs in my cars, and this one, is really awesome!
Love your new "soon to be" awesome audio setup!!

Hi
Will certainly take pics of the setup. Any of the forum members can recommend a audi fitment centre near to the North of JHB i could visit? I only know of Rivonia Car Audio.
Thanks
