Installer and advice

Post by bully »

Hi guys,

I want to upgrade my sound system. Not looking at anything over the top, just replacing the oem speakers with something better, an amp and possibly a small sub.

Can anyone recommend a quality installer in Jhb (preferable in the north) who would also be able to give me a shopping list.

Thanks

From what you explained, I'd say go for a good true 75rms 4ch amp with a split system and one 10" sub. Should sound great.

Amp/Splits brands : Alpine, infinity,JBL,Herts etc
Sub : digital Design, alpine, Rockford,Herts, kicker,Infinity,Mtx etc
Current : Sportline,63mmD.P, 57mm zorst, Eibach springs, Custom Intake, Toxic Tuned

Ifi had to choose

Amp : JBL/pioneer
Splits : infinity or JBL. Remember that infinity splits are pushing 90rms, that JBL amp has 65rms only.
Sub : JBL. I like the bass it gives.

Sorry bud I forgot to mention, before you buy that setup, go speak/find to your installer. Reason why I say is some of them already have good packages available and suited to your car, might even work out cheaper getting from them.

Good luck
