Polo Vivo Radio Problem

Post by PeterSusmak »

Howsit everyone,

I need some assistance with my 2011 Polo Vivo radio (with Bluetooth):

When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed that if you turn the volume knob louder it would sometimes go softer and visa versa.

Problem I have now is that the volume knob doesn't work at all, only sometimes if I switch off the radio and back on again.

Anyone else have this problem before? Perhaps a way to open up and fix? It is pretty irritating.

Thanks in advance

Best advice I can give you mate is to replace the deck! Had the same issue with my vivo's deck and blew the sound IC's coz I want to keep the standard deck with alot of sound...

replaced it with a pioneer double din deck, and haven't had any issues since!

Remove the volume knob by just pulling it off and spray some Q20 to remove dirt for static contact
