VW is terrible at keeping cars up to date. Its not remotely effective as engineers in the company to have cars vary so much in a single range ...leads to problems with users and software problems not being solved as they only work on whats the latest and not all cars get the latest.

My Bluetooth still fails randomly when you start the car and wont activate even when on the move for a while.

I heard that only VW SatNav radio's do not need to have an activation code as it comes for free, anybody else heard this?

Hahaha , well the steering looks like a big E-Class wheel and the interior is still nicer than lots of cars. Has more computers than Nasa

Pleasure. I try stick to jpegs due to their file size and as square as possible. I didn't have any issues with loading the ones I did.

What you need to do is make them 160x20 pixels, 24bit with transparency, PNG files.

I updated mine recently after getting the new car. You can download here http://www.mediafire.com/download/a106s ... s_v3.0.zip to get the updated ones, and see what I did.

Gives it a nice, consistent look.

Comp media is R2700 option and my polo came with mirrorlink activated so paid the R1200
