Digital Design or Alpine?

Post by Preshen »

Hi guys. Looking to get my hands on Digital Design or Alpine Coxial mids or Spilt Systems. I've been looking around at certain shops. However I'm looking for suggestions from where to purchase them.
Any recommendations?
Much appreciated.

Where about is the alpine going for R425?
I do like JBL alot. Its good Quality. However I'm building an Alpine or DD setup because the JBL amps that are like are way to expensive. And I need exactly 6''. Nothing bigger or smaller. I don't want to build baffles for my door pads.
THANK YOU for responding.
I am really interested with those alpine. Is it coxials?

So many factors to consider. Building baffles is actually a good idea... mounting on those cheap plastic things won't help you

Digital Designs, Alpine, JBL will all work.

The biggest contributor to how good any of these will sound is in the install. Like I always said, an expensive speaker that is badly installed will not sound as good as it could or in some cases sound terrible. The converse is also true, a cheaper speaker that's installed properly can punch way above its weight division.

So all in all, buy what your budget allows but have them installed really well. In fact if budget is really tight I would rather purchase the cheapest of the above brands I mentioned and spend the rest of the money in the install..
