Anti roll bars on a mk1 golf

Hi guys I wane ask the pros and cons of anti roll bars on a mk1 with coilies is it even worth it I got it for free car is a daily with a 1.8 20v turbo making 159kw 341nm

What suspension is currently installed?
Stock?
Coils?
Full struts aka coilovers?

Then don't worry about Anti roll bars.
It's designed for stock. It will work with VWR springs, then after that its nothing but trouble.
