Lower G/Box Mount 9N/6L

Custom lower gearbox mounts now available at DRD. Suitable for 9N2/3 and 6L Ibiza. Made from T6 6082 aluminum.

R1150 each. R1000 Paid Member

Damn. Looks like an epic piece of kit.

Are there any benefits of fitting this unit compared to the conventional box mount with poly bushes?

From what we have been told by the guys who have fitted them, and the guys who we gave mountings for testing.

Also these are guys that have been through several Poly bushes (all torn). Firstly they say there are less vibrations compared to the poly insert, motors seems to flex less, and most importantly none have broken :oops:

Very cool, I really like where DRD is going with the CNC work!

Dogbone mount for the Golf 4/Jetta 4 in progress by any chance?

Could you also perhaps start a suggestions thread where people can suggest products to be put into production because you guys have some really decent capacity.

(Starting off with a Mk2 Big Brake Kit, similar to the Mk1 :P )
