Mk1 280mm Brake upgrade kits.

Post by Breadroll »

Hi we have landed our brake upgrade brackets.
The brackets have been designed in house and have been made on a CNC precision milling machine out of T6 6082 aluminum.

The kit will upgrade your 237mm disc to a 280mm 4/100 pcd polo cup discs and you re-use your standard golf caliper for this upgrade. The MK1 golf is light enough so they work fine. The nice thing with this upgrade is that you wont have a problem with the caliper rubbing the mag or rim because of the bigger offset compared to the vr6 brake upgrade.

This kit is available with various different pad options, also we are able to make up braided lines.

NB: mag or min size must be 15" or larger

Polo cup discs: R1494 a set. Paid VWCSA Members R1308 a set
Brackets: R850 a set. Paid VWCSA Members R750 a set (also includes 8.8 HT bolts)
Brake Pads Ferodo: R239. Paid VWCSA Members R212
Brake Pads EBC Green: R1210. Paid VWCSA Members R1140.
Brake Pads EBC Yellow: R1500. Paid VWCSA Members R1350.
Brake Pads EBC Blue: R1520. Paid VWCSA Members R1390.
