Seat Leon Cupra - Full respray

Post by Kuvi »

Here's another full respray we completed as our last job for 2017. The car came in with lots of small dents, scratches and chips as well as a broken front spoiler and rear diffuser. We we tasked with getting her looking fresh once again.

Work carried out:
- Fix all dents, scratches and chips
- Fix front spoiler and rear diffuser
- Full respray in original colour
- Repair and respray wheels in Metallic black
- Respray all grills, and black bits in Metallic black
- Redo calipers in yellow
- Paint inner trimmings in Metallic black
- Paint rear spoiler in Metallic back and fit
- Customise side skirts and fit (we are still busy with this one)

PS mind the untidy shop in the background.

Looks epic!!
Out of interest, and asking honestly as I am thinking of heading down this road, where is the divide between taping up the windows and trim, as apposed to removing glass, trim etc? Obviously there is a lot more work involved in removing all trim, which would mean a big increase in cost. Is there a downside in this way of repainting as opposed to removing trim etc?

So what?

It's still a legit question. Kuvi was active here only two months ago, and prices wouldn't have changed SO drastically.

1) he sold the business (KNS Customs) apparently he started something else in the meanwhile but hasn't posted about it
2) what rabbit hole are you living in where costs haven't gone up over the last year?
3) necroing old threads is silly

1) Gee, thanks for letting us know. How was Devon supposed to know this? Crystal ball?
2) LOL. Reading doesn't seem to be your strong point. I wrote: Prices wouldn't have changed SO drastically (as to make Devon's question completely irrelevant). And even if prices have gone up so drastically, then why don't you enlighten us all, and help Devon with an actual answer?
3) Says you. Others think it's even sillier to keep starting gazillions of new threads. There are forums where it's actually considered good manners first to look for information on a topic, and try to latch onto that. (Probably just another rabbit hole to you)

Bottom line is, Devon is brand new to the forum, saw some pretty impressive technical work, asked a perfectly reasonable question about its price, but instead of helping him with his actual question, you go on a necro exterminator mission.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the last we've seen of Devon. And then people wonder why the forum has gone quiet...
