RAVE: Panic-Mechanic

Postby Big_L » Thu Aug 31, 2017 7:31 am

I would like to give a HUGE THANKS to Stephan for the excellent service I received from him! This man is nothing but outstanding in the work that he does and the extra mile he goes to ensure his customer is happy.

I recently purchased a Polo GTi privately and the seller was not honest with the faults of the car. I regretted the purchase once I figured out some of the faults. After Stephan worked on the car, I must say, I am enjoying the car now. He done the work that was required and a whole lot more without me having to ask and he kept me updated every step of the way.

His definitely a stand up guy and goes above and beyond. Not that he needs the recommendation as I am sure everyone has had a great experience with him but BIG UPS to you Stephan! Your workmanship and the knowledge you have on cars is truly something !

Crash damage. Half assembled after. Many loose items like the fans to the cradle, battery clamp missing, management box lying loose. Still some issues that we need to attend like getting the welds cleaned and seam sealer put on where there was a cut and weld repair on the floorpan. But It is ok for now. Just want to stop future rust.
Suspension bushes was worn badly, alignment not set. There is also a failed unit or broken cables to the steering angle sensor that needs hunting down at some point.
But at least at this point it is safe quiet and drives nicely.
