Had the usual call from my client saying he got in a mint condition r8 which wont require to much work
And he wanted to try the Gtechniq coating which meant i had to get the paint defect free as possible

This is what "does not require too much work" looked like

Afters: Gtechniq C1 - with all the coatings i have used, this is one of the most user friendly and easiest ones I have used.

Looks awesome Vishal.

I've tried the C2V3, very nice, easy on easy off.

The C1 needs a more specialized application?

Thanks bud...I'm glad you like c2.
C1 is very easy to apply as mentioned. Ideally you want to have the surface prepped properly.
Follow the usual paint decontamination process with iron fallout remover and clay/clay cloth
Polish the paintwork (if necessary)
Clean with Gtechniq panel wipe
Apply a few drops to the applicator....lil goes a long way
I applied it to half a panel at a time.
Apply and wipe off after a few seconds
Use 2 microfiber cloths...use the 1st one to gently wipe and buff off with the 2nd cloth.
And you done.

Use coating in temps between 5-25 degrees Celsius

I generally let a coatin cure for 24hrs before exposing it to the elements
You can top off c1 with c2 if you like...no issue

Looks awesome vish! C1 definitely a game changer in terms of easy of use and durability. Looks are very glassy and reflective and deep. Topped with Exo the paint feels like it's been waxed with a high end carnauba. Used it on jet Black paint and white and it never failed to impress. only coating that came close to this on the looks department was Kamikaze Miyabi
