Hey Guys & Girls,

I am new here….1st time VW owner….and now with a special project!

Long story short….I have rescued a 1996 Jetta 1.8 CLX which has been abandoned for the past 6 years or so. See the video on my YouTube channel (please like and subscribe). I am a new YouTuber, so please be gentle with the comments…hehe!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeoFbN ... -PL6IJpDRg

As you can see from Part 1, this Jetta is in terrible condition (obviously due to the time standing outside, and, the window was open).

Anyways, I have now joined this forum, because I know I will need everyone’s advice on this project, as it is not going to be easy!

Thank you for reading, and watching the video!

Greetings from South Africa!

Johann

It's good to start the project with the end goal up front.
