I've problem with my polo 1.9tdi 2005. It doesn't wanna start and if pickup it doesn't idle for more than 10 sec

Problem started after cambelt brake while driving, everything is done changing valves and drive for 2days then started to five cold start when cold until is failing to start completely

Most likely timing is off.
The PD Diesel engines have special tools required to lock in the timing, but even then it can move.
A millimeter is enough to upset the ECU.
