Jetta 2 Model

Post by jean.trollope »

Good day, I have joined this platform in the hope that i can find a reliable person/company who can bring my mothers VW Jetta 2 back to life

She constantly phone to say something is wrong with her vehicle. I wondered how much it would cost to redo the whole engine for her to bring it back to life without any complications. I need to find a company or person who restores cars to have a look at the vehicle to give me a quote to fix this car once and for all so she does not have issues. She is a pensioner so the car needs to be reliable again. She lives in Middelburg Mpumulanga but visiting me in PTA at the moment. Have to always bring her up with the citybug due to me not thinking the car is reliable at all.

Who could recommend someone that does this for a living or a company? Need them to have a look at the vehicle and tell me how much to upgrade everything that is not working. Basically restoring it to be reliable again. I dont mind bringing the car to Pretoria....

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

I think if you could give some basic details of the typical problems (no-start, cutting out, overheat, coolant or oil loss, power loss, electrical failures, etc. etc.), then people here would better be able to point you in the right direction.
