Hi guys need some assistance. I purchases a jetta 3

Its was converted from a carborator to a 2lt 8valve injected.

The problem i have is that when i took the care for engine clearance tge engine number doesnt match.

Please advise what other block will work if i have to take all the 2lt motor parts and put into another legit block.

Im a newby with vw so any advice and assistance will be much appreciated

Also any good vw mechanics in the durban phenix area that can assist will be appreciated. Im in need of a good vw mac to do my repairs.

Thanks guys
