Howsit guys,

My name is Matt and I am posting a little introduction as per the request of Honorable (Vice Chairman) J0NN0 (just kidding ).

I recently got my first Audi, was a die-hard Merc fanboy but have just fallen in love with Audi. Shortly after purchasing I realised that I didn't just buy a car, buy also a hobby, and that my stock A4 B8.5 was not going to fly.

Here's my ride currently:


I have plans to make it look sexier and sound a TEENY-TINY bit louder with a decat/dp. But I want to keep it as close to the way as Audi would want it as possible, with very few after-market changes (in terms of performance and body style). But, I'm sure as I mature through Audi, my priorities will change, lol.

So in my personal capacity, I am doing the LEDs myself, I'm awaiting an import of a full cool-white interior LED kit but in the meanwhile I have built my own footwell LEDs (as I wanted the blue footwells and couldn't source them anywhere).


If you're interested, the car pushes out 12V 20a to the footwells, so I used 2x 1.6-2.2v blue LED (I initially tested with 1 LED and it wasn't nearly bright enough) with 400ohms of resistance which seems to give each LED about 2v each (roughly) and with the help of my girlfriend's very steady hand, we were able to create some very neat looking circuitry .
