Hi guys
Just purchased a 2016 Golf SV 2.0Tdi Dsg with 35000km. First time Vw owner and very impressed. Spacious family vehicle. Have a active 3yr/120,000km warranty and 5yr/90,000km service plan. Any recommendations for a maintenance plan, should i take one?
Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Congrats on your first Dub. If you can afford to spend the extra then sure, take it.

It's Murphy's Law that if you can afford it and you don't take it then something will break. Conversely you can stretch the budget to make it and not have a thing go wrong.

Also calculate your mileage to see where you're at and what's likely to need replacing in that time frame.

I took the extended plan with clutch replacement in the back of my mind. Didn't get anywhere near that mileage when the plan expired.
