You're going to be disappointed. It only makes 300hp.

But, it sounds incredible once the turbo wakes up. No filter and a 1m long exhaust does that. :driving:

:driving: 300hp surely isnt anything to be ashamed of! more than that i bet you'd struggle with traction coz of the golf's light weight?

He he.

Anything more than 150hp and traction becomes a serious issue. As it is, with 300hp and 24.5" slicks, I'm only getting real traction in 3rd gear. But we're working on it.

No no, it's fine on the dyno. It's on the road where there's a problem.

Unless that's what you're offering? I'll bring some straps with. You might want to bring helmets.

GTI is boring. Bring the race car. You know you want to. Show the boys what a proper 8V sounds like.

100hp 8v is hardly going to set the dyno on fire but yes at 7500RPM it does sound really nice.
If the motor is back in one piece by then (getting stripped next week) I will bring it.
GTI does sound the business too though!

Well it seems that due to my utter crap luck the Jetta will be sitting out on the sidelines yet again. :bang:

Might come thru and put the Polo on the roles just for the kicks..

PS. I heard a birdy that said that Sarel might be bringing his 2.0 8V toy that he recently completed .. Some of the NA boys might be up against some stiff competition .
