Maybe, but I am going with my new tyres, Toyo T1R. Don't want to give the OPC and ST guys an excuse when I kicked their buts.

no contest  this car has awakened this crazy passion. i know i used to drive my 1300 tazz like a speed freak but there's just something else about a turbo hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

this time around i think i'll take the adrenaline coursing through my veins while going round the track, over, burning seven shades darker in the sun. 8)

i'll burn to a crisp on Saturday and go for a relaxed spin around the track on Sunday, sounds like the making of a PERFECT weekend :D

Some Questions .......

Post by Rabbit16v »

1.) Do I get a new card each year or do I just keep the one issued last year ?
2.) Will Semi Slicks be allowed in normal class ?
3.) Do one need a MSA license for the event ? Will one be able to pay for one on the day ?
4.) Will this be run as a 2 lap format ? - you start, go past once(warm up lap) your speed gets measured when you cross the line the 2nd time, and you enter the pits and the end of that lap ?

Yes you do get a new card each year, stating the valid YEAR!
Rabbit16v wrote:2.) Will Semi Slicks be allowed in normal class ??
Semi's will be allowed in normal class.
Rabbit16v wrote:3.) Do one need a MSA license for the event ? Will one be able to pay for one on the day ??
Your RCL license from the club will be valid for the day, so you don't need to purchase an MSA license for the day.

That is the exact format we plan to run. :)

If I've got my fenders rolled by then I'll attend.

Have they fixed/re-surfaced the road?

No way I'm going on Gerotek if that bump and crater haven't been fixed yet :?

I was there with the CSL last year, did 238km/ on the last run, almost lost it big time when I hit the damned bump. Anyways, only way to avoid the bump is to keep as close to the barrier as possible.

I got in car footage of my first run as well as outside footage of the 238km/h one.

I'll try to be there :)

The quickest way around the oval is to be close to the barrier as possible. The lower you go the slower you go. Maybe that's why I have mever felt that bump.

I know, but remember what that S3 looked like after it kissed the barrier last year? Not pretty.

This has been discussed on another post... The bump is NO excuse not to run !!!!!!!!!

Me, and alot of other people.... nahh..... I'm not even going to bother... If you don't want to take a run with the bump, your loss
