First Event - Dyno Day at KAR - 27 January 2007

The VW Club of SA. - Dyno day

Let's start 2007 with a Dyno day at KAR. Members and Non-members allowed. As you all know this Dyno is very accurate, so bring your cars along and see if it is running right. Also you can renew your membership for 2007 and meet everyone.

Venue : KAR, Kempton Park
Date : 27 January 2007
Time : 08h00 until then
Cars - members R50 / non-members R70
(2 runs done consecatively)

Wors Rolls and beverages will be on sale.
Mochachos will cater for those with Halaal requirements

Directions:

Heading towards the Airport on the R24, take Barbara Road off-ramp, and turn left (turn right if your are heading away from the airport). Turn right into Brabazon Road. Turn left into Isando Road. Turn right into Green Highway and continue north for 1.57 km. Turn right into Plane Road. KAR is immediately on your right.

i trust everyone had a fantastic holiday. i've only just returned from mine

just a question.........is this dyno day event only for Vdub drivers?

you right Ary it' hasn't stopped me before. Jst being polite, hehehehehe yeah right

ok so i've never put my car on a dyno before. i've heard though that all the warning lights and things go crazy after that until you restart it a second or third time.

it happened to my bro's Focus ST.

so what's the deal? normal? strange? don't chance it? etc.

Some of the light do come on. Just switch the car off and on and it goes away. Magic I tell you.

au contraire.....

it's been a while, was a VERY chilled holiday, save for one little race with a beemer of a friend, 110kw, no comparison.

TLGP's are scarce lately.
