HAHA!!! jea mine was also clean.. just washed it, only wanted to show and shine... finished with the sound install on Saturday night, hey you only live once! i just don’t want to wash it again! i need the prove! we have 2 video's where i drove with the golf and one where i drove the Merc.. However the quality wasn't that great! hope to see you at the next one. they say there is one once a month!

yeah, I need some semi's now. the road tyres don't grip that well. I was powersliding thru most corners and wheelspinning out of others!

The wheel spin you will not be able to get rid of - with a stock diff.
I have got an old pair of semis you can have - for the fronts.
They have got a quite a bit of tread left but they are about a year old so they are pretty heard, but still better than road tyres.

Semi's are only about 1 - 2s quicker than good high perf road tyres.

I live in Durb's but was up in Jozzie for a bulls party but cruized round to the track to watch for a couple of hours!!! the traffic was bad for the normal cars!!!! there was a two door mk1 doing some nice laps but the ST's where only doing 1;26's???? .....who was in the mk1??? what set up?? I did high 1;19's two weeks earlier in my mkII... need suspension and brake upgrades!!!

I was in the white two door.

It was fun - there is another event on the 18th of November. (I think)

I had an oil cooler fitted - and it helped a lot in cooling things down.

The accelerator pedal popped off - so i was just using the wire for a while

As far as I know - my best time was around 1:20 something.

1:19 is good - what r u running ?

stripped out with roll cage 2lt long block with sidies....you were running very well !!!! pity about the traffic,could see that we would of had a good scrap!!!!was very bleak I was on the side line, 18th of nov...might have to come up again for that . Need to get suspension sorted before that.And you???
