VWCSA Dyno day

Post by DieterMK5 »

Hi everyone :hi:

With Lockdown regulations slowly easing and the want for a bit of a social event, this had us asking ourselves why we wouldn't host a Dyno day. It's a great day out for all, and we get to hear all those ponies being unleashed on the 2wd rollers. Perhaps you changed your set-up during lockdown? Maybe you added a turbo? Well, whatever you did (or didn't do), come join us :driving:

We will have food and drinks available to purchase on the day as well as some awesome club merch for sale. Be sure to show your support, it enables the committee to put on some of the great events you've become acustomed to and love. Covid still has all participants wearing face masks, which might help with some of the fumes from the devil fueled cars, I mean diesel

Might be fun for a change. I'll try to make it. Pre bookings or arrive and do a dyno run?

Unfortunately doesn't look like we will get official results. So let's start a unofficial results list. If you know what power your car made or you gave info on your friends dyno power, please add it

A decision was made to not document the results for various reasons, mainly short handed committee members. Unfortunately we don’t have a large committee for 2020 and that puts strain on all of us to have well planned and executed events. We decided to rather have the event run well, than trying to stretch ourselves thin. We would love more members to put up their hand and join the committee for the 2021 year, this would prevent a situation like this going forward.

We hope everyone understands the decision taken and we endeavor to do whatever we, as a committee can, with the amount of hands we have.
