VWCSA Presents The Breakfast Run & AGM

Post by Ian_F »

Hello all.

Image

October is screaming past us at a rapid rate. While we are still looking forward to seeing some nominations for the committee of 2019, the committee of 2018 has put together a breakfast run for this month which will also serve as our Annual General Meeting, where you, the people get to have your say on the club, past and future events, and who you would like in charge of running the best club in the country! (The thread for nominations for yourself or others is here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=213413&p=2576638&hi ... s#p2576638 :hi: )

This year, we decided to make it a little more interesting by switching things up with a completely different venue for our breakfast run, seeing as Harties and the Vaal are pretty much the go-to for almost everyone hosting a run these days.

Our meeting point will be the usual spot at Meadowdale Mall in Edenvale on Sunday the 28th of October at 07:30am, where some coffee and a snack can be had from the local McD’s to wake you up.

From there we will head on to the highway down towards the N17 and on into Secunda.

Graceland Casino in Secunda will host us for breakfast, after which we will hold our AGM and vote in the committee for 2019.

Thereafter, the day is yours to explore an historic town or you can join a couple of us who may stay behind and shoot 9 holes on the golf course. Otherwise, take a relaxed drive back home and prepare for the upcoming week at your own pace.

To recap:

Breakfast Run & AGM
DATE: SUNDAY 28 October 2018
START POINT: MEADOWDALE MALL, Edenvale
TIME: 8:00am
END POINT: GRACELAND CASINO, Secunda

See you there!
