not sure why people didn't participate but that's their loss. Props to the team for staying out there till the very last of us were finished racing :hurray:

and Jazmine, FYI - Street Outlaws doesn't have timing, so not sure what you mean regarding getting timing equipment to be like them.
Hey B_Rad.

Congratulations on winning the most enthusiastic racer of the day! Also, on your one and only win against @Sebz.

Chris and I will be in touch to settle up for your prize!

Perfectly captured by Club Photographer Dylan Shaw Photography.

When we planned RWYB, we had a very different outcome to what transpired. We discussed scenarios where might have had to turn racers away if the event got too full.
Well, 22 brave racers took part in our heads up racing.
A huge shoutout to all the people who had an absolute blast with us on the track.
With such a small field it meant that loads of runs happened, and everyone got a chance to get a feel for the strip.

The Chris Wall Media Most Enthusiastic Racer of the Day prize went to Bradley Harper, taking on almost the whole field, despite only registering a couple of wins!!
Other racers took home some cool merch for Best Burnout, and Best Lady Driver- smashing 2.0TFsi in her MK1, showing that theres always a MK1 faster than you!!!

Club Sponsors VAG Technik - Revo Authorised Distributor, brought a host of seriously fast machinery, along with the main man @ VAG Cafe, Shaun Mooloo, in his superb MK7R (Head on down to their FB page to see the hilarious video they put together). Some epic races happened between thier 11 second cars!

Lindsay Saker Midrand Volkswagen also brought some new VW's for the spectators to drool over, and we look forward to hosting them at our future events. Thanks for joining :)

The Sunday Crew, as always, came out to support our event. Thanks guys, and for the epic 100m dash :)
Finally, to Redstar Raceway Delmas South Africa, for hosting us, and for allowing us the use of their epic facilities!

Catch the club at our next event, DubRun2k18!

Peace
