Was there only for about an hour but it was lekker.

Did a warm up lap and immediately thereafter a flying one.

Nice thing about the TDI is the low down torque, Kak thing is you have to change into third gear on that track. And your wheels spin too much out of every bend. Maybe if you got ESP it helps.

I fear going into the tunnel. Just don't have the guts to go through at full throttle. Maybe some more experience will help. Preety confident a low 61 sec is possible with the TDI.

Next time around i'm definitely putting on my standard wheels and getting more laps in.

Noble was awesome. That thing sounds wicked.

Pity there were no G5 GTI's on the track. Would have been nice to see them in comparison to the silver ST.

LifeGP. You did some hectic laps in your CTI. Was good fun to watch.

The 2.0 FSI Jetta looks so sweet on the track. Didn't think a sedan would negotiate a track with such grace. I enjoyed watching it each time it went for a lap.

My hat off to the red MK2 with the BBS wheels. What a sight on the track. Amazing stuff.

Tx to the organisers.

More then enuff said.

Thanks for the great day guys! Really had a lot of fun taking my car on the track for the first time! And that Noble was awesome, as was Craig's braking for the last corner before the finish!

Great to see and meet some of the guys and see their runs.

Cheers

Neuk....
I want driving lessons.

My last run i was pushing as hard as i could and even during the run was thinking that i cannot go faster than this....And i was still a second off ur time!!!

I could drive my golf pretty damn fast but it seems im still to rough with the tractor.

Which reminds me....must rotate tires this week...the fronts are looking very sorry for themselves.

Really nothing in it between the first three Polo TDI's.

Dissapointing is that there were no MK5 GTI's on track :(

The mk5 jetta (what a car) and a few Tdi's did teach the Focus ST a trick or two though

I'm sure I could have done better. The Cti wheelspun out of all the corners and 2nd gear was a bit long on the aug. Traction was a big problem. Maybe for next year, I need to get some slicks like the mk2 and a shorter 2nd gear... :P

Eish. I only did one lap so maybe i just got lucky bru.

Pity there isn't another one planned soon. I'd love to change onto my standard wheels and then give it a shot with no concern for tyres. I think you were in the same boat worrying about killing your new Pirelli's.

Did any of the guys do a lap with ESP on :?: I also found that the TDI spins too much out of the bends in 2nd.

After seeing you attack the end line and smoke those tyres, i'm pretty sure your tyres have flat spots. Might as well change to slicks

Ha Ha :!: I started off in the 70's though, and then my buddy jumped in the car and helped out - actualy he crapped all over me :!: I really enjoyed the day and meeting some of the other guys - JTM and Fanatix and seeing some of the other guys again.

It was the first time either myself or my car had been on the track, so I really enjoyed it :!: Need to rotate those tires as well, and the sports suspension and REVO is calling

Damn, I really envy you guys. Probably wouldn't have hit the track myself, but it would have been a Jol watching you guys.

Had a really hectic weekend, all of it at the last minute. Still recovering.

Gotta start setting up my diary so nothing gets planned on a event weekend.

Definately Shaun, trying to figure out who is who, as I am still new at the club. Saw your car there, wanted to steal the rims, but they wouldn't fit my car :!: Ha Ha :!:
