It would be great seeing more VW's join this year(2017) to match up on the Strip/Track/Gymkhana events against other clubs and manufacturers, its going to be an exciting year ahead for VW's in the Cup!

We already entered the Caddy and very excited about this coming year in Michelin cup. if any one have questions about the event and what is needed please feel free to contact myself or Ashley for any information or advice . This is an timed event / series for road cars and there are plenty of different classes for different HP vehicles . If you think you have an awesome vehicle that is fast , come and prove it !

We will be attending all the events with basically all the tools needed and if any of the registered VWCSA members joint us you are more than welcome to come and ask for help or a tool or two .

mk2 is turbo though

I drive up for the trackdays/vkc events . Have enjoyed every event i have been to so far. Some awesome cars come out to play .

First mitchelin Cup event is a dyno day. It falls on the same day as vwcsa 28th January but I'm going till 16:00 to the Michelin cup one so I can get classified for a class for the rest of the season. Then of to vwcsa dyno day. So if you plan to enter Michelin cup this year, please remember to enter the dyno day or you won't be classified.

It was so fast at last year's Zwartkops event!

Thanks guys. Some more work was done to the polo and hoping for even faster times.

Will probably bring the turbo beetle to the redstar event.

Registered Cup Members – R300.
Non Cup Members – R350.

Clothing: Long sleeves and helmet.

Proceedings: For those of you who have not yet attended one of these events:

As you arrive at the venue, make your way to registrations.
There will be scrutineering to make sure your vehicle is in safe running condition for track use.
Once finished we will have a short drivers briefing to discuss rules and regulations for the day.

Cars will be split into their classes to line up on the day to try and run respective cars together.
VIP race package has been paid for to ensure that there are clean toilet facilities available at all times.
Refreshments and food will be available for sale on the day.

Limited to 80 drivers

Michelin Cup Members : R350
Non Michelin Cup : R400
Passangers: R50
Spectators are free.

No helmet required.
