There comes a time once every year where we all wind down, sit back and try to spend some time with the ones we love most. Now for some, the 1st thing that comes to mind is the Festive Season right? Well for lovers of all things Volkswagen and Audi there's only one time of the year that fits this description and that's when its Vdub Camp Festival time 'aka Camp Fest' babyyyyy!
If you've never been to Vdub Camp Fest and claim to be vdub fanatic and live anywhere in Southern Africa, your life will not be complete without a visit to what is 'thee' largest weekend gathering of VAG enthusiasts in Africa. Camp Fest started from humble beginnings in 2009 as a single day show&shine/party event. Fast forward 6years to the 2015 event and it is now a 2day 2night motoring, music and outdoor lifestyle festival which is expected to attract in excess of 10,000 people from all parts of the world.
Camp Fest brings together the cream of the SA vdub scene and all those that embrace the term "for the love of dubs" meet annually at the event to share in this unique bond that exists at Camp Fest. Words often fail to sum up what the Camp Fest experience is all about so go check out the 2013 and 2014 videos on their Facebook page and you'll catch just a glimpse of what were trying to describe in words.
